Neighborhood is very quiet with sounds of the wildlife outside. Blue jays, squirrels, raccoons, and various song birds frequent the grounds. We have a canister of treats for our wildlife in the service porch. Upon filling containers, you will have a feeding frenzy! Amazing to watch the blue jays swoop in on the squirrels. We have also had raccoon, deer and bunny sightings in the yard. Enjoy! Idyllmeier is a half hour walk or a 5 minute drive to town. Large "U" drive for parking. Bike rentals available in town. Checking in is 3:00 pm and Checkout is at 11:00am. Two night minimum. Please provide your own wood for wood burning stove.
