This is a multi-unit villa with 4 private, self-contained spaces. You can book an individual unit for a private stay or reserve the entire villa for groups of up to 12 guests. It’s a flexible base designed for families, friends, or groups who want space, privacy, and nature together. The space HOW BOOKING WORKS (please read before booking) This listing shows as the "entire villa," but what you get depends on the amount of people in the enquiry. Here's exactly how it works: 1. Enter the guest count that matches the space you want, not your actual headcount. Pricing is based on the space you're booking, not the number of people staying in it. Want the whole villa but you're only 6 people? You'll pay the full 12-guest rate, so search for 12, not 6. Want just the two King Suites for a group of 4, even though there are only 2 of you? Search for 4. 2. We confirm your unit(s). Based on the guest count, we'll message you to confirm exactly which unit(s) are available for your dates and number of guests. You won't have access to the whole villa unless you've booked for 12 guests and the whole villa is available 3. What you book depends on the guest count you search: - 2 guests → 1 King Suite (individual listing recommended) - 3-4 guests → Both King Suites (Left Wing) or 1 King Suite and the One Bedroom Apartment - 5-6 guests → The 3-Bedroom Apartment (Right Wing) — individual listing usually best or the 2 King Suite and One Bedroom Apartment - 6+ guests wanting separate rooms → A combination of units across the villa - Up to 12 guests → The whole villa, all 4 units, priced at the full 12-guest rate regardless of actual headcount - We can add extra single beds to the King Rooms and Twin Room if more beds are needed - please enquire The 4 units: King Suite x2 (Left Wing) – Private balcony, en-suite bath, shared outdoor kitchen. Sleeps 2 each. 3-Bedroom Apartment (Right Wing) – King ensuite, twin ensuite, and a semi-open but screened in double; full kitchen, open-plan living. Sleeps up to 6. Garden Apartment (Ground Floor) – Queen bedroom, own kitchen, private bath, patio. Sleeps 2. Availability of specific units shifts daily. You may hear neighbouring guests, everyday neighbourhood activity, and the natural rhythm of island life. Across the road is a popular beach bar/restaurant with a pool, offering easy access to food, drinks, and swimming, along with occasional live music on weekends or special events. White noise machines are provided in all bedrooms for a more restful sleep. 2. Accommodation & Guest Comfort: Casa de Mono offers a variety of accommodation options, from private suites to larger apartments and the full villa. Please review the listing details carefully to ensure the space suits your group's needs. Children are welcome in all units, though space for cribs or extra beds may be limited in some accommodations. Additional beds and cribs may be available for an extra nightly fee—please let us know in advance if required. 3. Jungle Living: Geckos, butterflies, birdsong, monkeys, and the occasional curious insect are all part of the experience. A/C, ceiling fans, mosquito-screened windows, and mosquito netting help keep things comfortable, but this is still a tropical island where nature thrives. Shared & Private Spaces: Depending on the accommodation you've booked, some outdoor areas and amenities may be shared with other guests staying at the villa. Even with a full villa booking, you may occasionally see us or members of our team tending the gardens, carrying out maintenance, making deliveries, or assisting with property operations. Casa de Mono is located just off the beach road between Bocas Town and Playa Bluff. While surrounded by lush tropical gardens, it is part of a vibrant local community rather than a secluded jungle retreat. You may hear everyday neighbourhood activity, passing traffic, and the natural rhythm of island life.
