Perfect family retreat on a peaceful Marina

Renovated in Aug 2023, this spacious, modern property features verandas on three sides, overlooking the Macclesfield Canal and Cheshire Plain. Ideal for family get togethers, it offers 4 large family bedrooms, a private field by the marina, and is dog-friendly. Set in the countryside, Poynton's shops and amenities are 2.5 miles away, and Manchester Airport, Trafford Centre, Buxton, and the Derbyshire Dales are a 30-minute drive. Additional camping space is available for extra guests. The space The house is on a raised platform with access via 11 shallow steps with hand rails each side. Open plan ground floor Kitchen and leisure space with modern appliances. 55inch smart TV, Electric reclining sofas to seat 6. 4 bar stools under kitchen island. Dining table seats 8 comfortably. Reading corner with recliner, books and games. Two bedrooms upstairs are spacious and will easily sleep 2 guests each, the master is on-suite and a small WC for the other large family bedroom. On the ground floor there are 2 further bedrooms and a large family bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower, big enough for 2! Outside (Through the patio doors, rear door and front door) there are 3 terraces overlooking the canal, Marina and Peak District. Check out our social media page for a video of the house. Guest access Guest have exclusive use of the house with secure car parking spaces. They are welcome to appreciate the marina whilst sticking to the main access roads. The only locked space in the house are the cleaning cupboards and boiler. We have an open field for all guest and dogs approx. 2.5 Acres. Great for summer activities. We also allow friends to visit for the day if you want to have a get together. To gain entry to the marina, you will be given a code a few days before check in. This is for you and your guests only and not to be shared. Other things to note This is a working marina tractors, delivery vehicles and grass cutting equipment in constant use in the working week. Dogs and small children must be supervised whilst outside the property due to being next to water. The house is situated on the water front. 2 of the terraces are only accessible via the house and are ideal play areas for children and dogs. Please ensure you follow the rules to make it an enjoyable stay. Feel free to ask for extended check in and check out options.
