Bennett's Landing: Beautiful Lakeside Cabin

Located on Sugar Island this beautiful cabin has water access to Lake George. Far enough from Sault Ste. Marie to feel remote but close enough to have access to civilization. This is the largest of two rental cabins at Bennett's Landing. This fully furnished cabin has everything you need for a fun getaway in the UP of Michigan. BBQ and propane provided. Outdoor fire ring provided. There are 6 kayaks available for guests to use along with board, card, and outdoor yard games. The space Bennett's Landing was a popular fishing resort on Sugar Island for many decades and is in the process of being restored to its former glory. There are currently two cabins available for rental. Two more are in the process of being renovated. Other things to note Since the cabin is located on Sugar Island you have to cross over by ferry. The ferry runs between 5am through 2am(the following day). The cost for most vehicles to cross the ferry is $20. There are some animals that reside at Bennett's Landing: two friendly cats, and some chickens that are enclosed in a fenced area.
