Soweto of old, was the central location for wealthier business men to live within reach of their factories and warehouses, many of which are still located nearby attracting some passing light industrial traffic seeking a quick route! Local transport by Boda Boda, or Bajaji is available 100 metres from the Home Stay door if you chose. For those requiring reliable drivers, we can assist with contacts for Boda Boda, Bajaji or car pickup service at reasonable prices, but slightly higher than the bikes or bajajis. The Lion King Homestay also has a reliable well maintained care to seat 5 ppl for hire by arrangement, pending availability. In town, the local dalla dalla (mini bus) service is always running, but dallas do not run to Soweto. For more extensive commuting, Moshi is centre point for the East African bus network with the station located centrally in town.
