The views from the village are among the most spectacular in the valley due to its elevated location and the panoramic viewpoint apse next to the house. The space The house is located 8 minutes from the entrance to the Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes, 5 minutes from Barruera and Salencar de Barruera, 15 minutes from Pont de Suert (capital of the region) and about 20 minutes from the Boí Taüll ski slopes. From the courtyard you can eat/dine with a direct view of the Romanesque church of Santa Maria de Cardet (World Heritage Site). Below the imposing apse of this church is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the valley, with privileged views over the Barruera plain and the entire Salencar natural area. The Vall de Boí is the valley of the 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites: · The Romanesque churches, a World Heritage Site. · The starry night sky (Starlight Destination), simply spectacular. · Las Fallas (the Pyrenean fire festival), an Intangible Cultural Heritage. They are celebrated in June/July. · 8 km away is the Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes, hundreds of kilometers of mountains, streams and multiple lakes in the only national park in Catalonia. In addition, the country house is a short walk away from Salencar de Barruera: crystal clear waters and various lagoons connected by branches of the river crossing several bridges and walkways. Ideal for a comfortable walk on flat terrain with sightings of native fauna present in every corner. The house itself is a triplex of 80m2 in total with a large patio equipped with tables, chairs and BBQ grill. The ground floor, in addition to the outdoor patio where you can also leave the cars, consists of a living-dining room with sofa-bed, TV, washing machine and a perfectly equipped kitchen (induction hobs, Nespresso and Italian coffee makers, oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, toaster...). The dining room table is extendable. Up the stairs are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and another with a 90 cm bed) with beautiful views of the patio and the mountains, and a full bathroom with a bathtub (80L thermos). Finally, on the third floor which is accessed through the double room, there is a spacious loft with another double bed and velux with incredible views. In the area you can do an infinite number of excursions and getaways, as well as practice climbing, fishing, hiking, thermalism (Caldes de Boí)... It has an almost intact natural environment, a great variety of vegetation, native species, rivers, lakes and a very varied high mountain climate. In addition, as the temple next to the house was built on the steep slope of the mountain, taking advantage of the unevenness, the only crypt of the entire Romanesque complex of the Vall de Boí was built inside. Guest access All linens and towels are included in the price, clean and prepared according to the number of guests. We also include basic things like oil, salt, soap, cleaning products... In the courtyard there are more tables and chairs available for guests to eat, dine or have a drink outside, in addition to the BBQ grill if you want to use it. This space is shared at most by the 3 apartments we rent there, and can be exclusive. The large courtyard can also serve as a parking lot for cars, thus sheltered from the street by the metal access door. However, outside on the cobblestone streets there is also space to leave them.
