Relax and recharge in this glamorous oasis of tranquillity and elegance. Maison Montello is a private villa located in one of the most exclusive and greenest areas of Varese, not far from the centre (1,5 km) but very quiet. Care and research were the principles that inspired the recently completed renovation to convey the concept of "feel homely" and allow you to have a stay like at a friend's house. The space The villa doesn't have a breakfast service but you can enjoy, shared between the two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room and a large terrace with two tables and chairs. During the summer, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terrace and be pleased of the view and fragrances of the garden where flowering essences are present in succession throughout the year. A garden where olfactory aromatic approach has been determining the choice over the time: Rosemary Hedges, Sage, Thyme, Mint, Wild Fennel, Basil, Laurel, Lavender, Helichrysum and Calycanthus in February; Jasmine in May and, unrivalled, in September for 3-4 weeks, the Osmanthus scent and, later till December, the winter Camelia. Both bedrooms and bathrooms have large bright windows that always allow you to appreciate the garden. The rooms are naturally very fresh with the possibility of ceiling fans and indipendent air conditioning in each room for an a' la carte stay. Parquet or marble or Palladian flooring for a luxory stay. Queen size double beds with linen sheets or 90 cm. single beds and thick terry bath towels. Double suitcase holder to allow you to leave two suitcases open without be obliged to empty them. Purified and softened water for a fantastic experience for your skin and hair. Azalea room is equipped with a washing machine and a double shower. We are SMOKE FREE. It's compulsory the payment locally of the city tax of 1 Euro per night per person. Guest access Maison Montello includes two rooms with ensuite bathrooms and has a personal access via a staircase from the garden that goes up to the first floor terrace. In the apartment you will find a large living room with a table, chairs and a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, MW, conventional oven, crockery, pans and cutlery as well as coffee machine for pods, kettle and toaster. Direct access to the terrace with tables and chairs to enjoy the greenery. Entry code to the apartment and a ring for the gate opening to allow greater flexibility for the check-in, if agreed (15-18 is the standard). We greatly prefer to wellcome and to see off our loved guests. During your stay We are often at home and we are delighted to meet our guests with the aim to enjoy this personal contact that sometimes, in our working life, we weren’t always able to achieve. Other things to note We are very attentive to the environmental SUSTAINABILITY as well as the comfort of our guests. Double walls to grant a better insulation from cold and heat. Also the windows are double glazed (the most recent ones are triple glazed). Furthermore, thanks to the cantilevered roofs that protect from direct sunlight and the trees, the temperature is NATURALLY cool even in summer and does not require AIR CONDITIONERS (however installed) as well as ceiling paddle fan to make it even more “a’ la carte” your living room. There are mosquito nets on the windows to grant you long nights of absolute rest. We have installed solar panels, the boilers are condensing and we are trying to replace the plant species with water saving ones to leave our children the best possible world.
