This is your “local” Chicago experience! Broken Manor has 6 themed apartments that host both short and long term guests. All apartments are themed 1 bedroom, 1-1.5 bathroom with living room and kitchen. Above Broken Barrel, Lincoln Park’s coveted sports bar featuring 5 bars, 50+ taps, 45+ TVs, 4-season 200+ person patio, award winning food, original local art and amazing energy. Great for any of your special occasions and large groups looking to enjoy a full circle hospitality experience. The space About Broken Manor: All Broken Manor apartments are renovated and themed 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom with full size living room and kitchen, equipped with cooking essentials. Please note, the number of beds and floor plan varies between units, if you have any questions please reach out for current floor/bed arrangements. The Hippie apartment is just so much fun! Groovy theme running through the painted walls, hammock chairs, art and decor. This apartment has 2 queen beds, a trundle bed (with 2 twin mattresses), queen sofa bed and air mattress. Located on Southport Avenue, North of Fullerton and South of Wrightwood. 1.5 mile from Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park Zoo, Lake Michigan and downtown. Walking distance to Southport Corridor shopping and dining as well as to DePaul University, neighboring schools and churches, Chicago Transit and easy access to all highways. The neighborhood streets are lined with our favorite restaurants, shops, dry cleaners, salons and cafes that Chicagoans love to support! If you need more space or have additional guests joining you we are happy to try to accommodate you with another unit, pending availability. Long-term booking options are available, please inquire with the host. Premises are monitored by security cameras. Please note that the apartments are located in a city and above a bar so some noise may filter through. About the Apartments: Primary Guest Responsibility – The primary guest, who made the booking, is required to reside at the property for the full reservation period and assumes responsibility for all occupants. For bookings made on behalf of others, please reach out to us to discuss potential exceptions to this policy. Guest Age Policy – Guests between 18-21 may be considered for booking exceptions. Please include your age, reason for booking, and the names of the guests who will be staying with you when you inquire. Local Guest Policy - Local guests are kindly requested to contact for booking arrangements, as exceptions may apply. To ensure a peaceful environment, parties and large gatherings are not permitted. Hosting an unauthorized event will result in cancellation of the booking without a refund. Complimentary Wi-Fi with accessibility to streaming apps is available. Please reach out to the host if you are having problems connecting. Parking - Street parking is free on the surrounding streets, in our experience it tends to turn over quickly but is never guaranteed. Read all posted signs to avoid tickets or towing. To secure a spot, use parking apps like SpotHero or ParkWhiz. Decor and Art - We love Chicago and supporting local artists so we feature original art, themed decor and a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Decor and Art are property of this building and renters will be held responsible for missing or broken items. No taping anything to the walls or any type of confetti. You will be charged an extra cleaning, painting or repair fee based on need or level of repair. The air mattress and additional bedding are located in a table/ chest in front of the pull out couch near the TV. The rental unit pictures were taken before it was listed and normal rental wear and tear is normal for rental units. Please be aware that city living entails some ambient noise. Note, Broken Barrel does not manage the apartments and employees do not have an affiliation with Broken Manor. All requests pertaining to your stay must be done through the booking site and host. By completing your reservation, you agree to ALL policies and rules stated on this booking site. Guest access Guests have access to the interior of the apartment only. Common spaces are reserved for permanent residents and management only. Emergency exits are located in the back door of each apartment and to be used for emergencies only. Strict fines will be enforced for not adhering to this rule. Other things to note Additional Rules/ Policies: Tours - Due to security reasons, we do not offer walk through or tours prior to bookings. We have taken extra care to be very descriptive of our listing through our photos and description. Our host will be happy to answer any questions regarding property. Pets are welcomed at host discretion. Cancellations - Guests are encouraged to purchase their own travel insurance. The strict cancellation policy is upheld & no refunds are provided. Host is not responsible for expenses a Guest may incur because of a changed itinerary, missed flight, delay in arrival, or unexpected early departure. Security Deposit - Is applied only if guests break rules, something is broken or stolen and is applied after checkout. AutoHost verification - All bookings are subject to a post-booking screening process. The right to cancel any reservation that does not meet verification standards is reserved Guest verification – For legal and security reasons, you may be asked to sign a rental agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact details, and submit a selfie matching your ID. Guest Screening - For the safety and comfort of all, a reliable track record on the platform is preferred.
