Our cottage is a mix of quirky and cosy, with all the necessities and a front patio that beckons you to slow down and savor the simplicity of life. Step inside, and you'll find a comfortable living space that retains its original charm while offering everything you need. It’s good value for money, however if you prefer new and shiny this may not be the house for you. It’s well maintained and built in the 1940s. The 2 bedrooms are adorned with queen sized beds, oil heaters and electric blankets are also provided as well as firewood in the winter. The living area is a cozy retreat, featuring comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a collection of DVD’s, books and board games. It's the perfect spot to gather with loved ones and simply enjoy the crackling warmth of the fire in winter and evaporative air conditioning in summer. The rustic kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare hearty meals. Rustic cabinetry, a vintage stove, and eggs fresh from the backyard add to the quaint charm. The infamous pink bathroom maintains a touch of history complete with pink bathtub and antique fixtures. Get a taste of outback living with the toilet and laundry located straight out the back door under the patio. This is under the main roof space. The rear yard is completely secure with external lighting. This is an extremely safe part of the world. Don’t be scared to leave a window open and enjoy the fresh air. Step outside to our charming garden, the expansive yard offers ample space for outdoor activities. The resident ducks, chickens and Jake the sheep make great company as well. Guest access You can access all the rear and front yard. It’s a 1000sqm in total. Please shut all gates behind you and please always shut the main gates to the backyard behind you. Other things to note The perfect place to unwind after exploring all the wheatbelt has to offer including Wave Rock, Kondinin Lake, Yerrkine Rock or simply a bush walk. With the local IGA right next door, community pool for those hot summer days and a pub feed and bottle-shop available just down the road, what more could you ask for? Kulin is only 20km away has a pool with a great water slide and an awesome skate park. Also a nice cafe and larger IGA supermarket. The perfect stop over if travelling, as we are only 60km from the Hyden- Norseman road or if you’re on the way to Esperance, take your time and enjoy a break on your journey through.
