The space The flat provides everything you need. It is fully air conditioned. You'll find 2 air conditions (dining room / bedroom), that are cooling down the whole flat, a safe, laundry machine, stove, fridge, everything you need to cook like dishes, cutlery, pots and pans... There is warm and cold water. Power outlets are available all over the flat in European (220V) and United States (110V) format (see pictures). No power adapters needed. There is a landline phone in the apartment. You have a beautiful view to the sea from the balcony. Guest access You will have access to the building and to the apartment. Other things to note GENERAL INFORMATION 1. The way from the airport to the apartment Take a cab. There are usually always official cabs available outside the airport. As of early 2024, a ride to the apartment costs between USD 30 and USD 40. Unfortunately, public transport does not work in Cuba. Cubans often wait hours for a bus. Together with the poor supply situation, public transport is not recommended. 2. Internet 2.1. How to connect to the Internet in Cuba? There is mobile internet in Cuba. In order to use the network through the state-owned Cuban telecommunications company ETECSA, you must purchase a local SIM card. These are available with different data tariffs. It is best to get advice on site. 2.2. Where can I buy the cards? You can purchase the SIM cards at the airport, in hotels or in the official ETECSA stores. 3. Exchange money We recommend exchanging money at a bank or withdrawing local currency (CUP) directly from an ATM. Foreign currency can be exchanged illegally "on the street" at a much higher rate, but there is a lot of counterfeit money in circulation.
