The space 🏡 House Rules – Please Read Carefully Before Your Stay To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all guests read and follow the house rules below. Failure to follow these rules may result in additional charges or cancellation of your stay. 1. Drinking Water Please bring your own drinking water for cooking and consumption. Although we have water filters installed, the water is not suitable for drinking or food preparation. 2. Toilet Use Please do not flush toilet paper. Kindly use the garbage bin provided in the bathroom to help maintain our septic system. 3. Respect the Neighborhood Be courteous to our neighbors at all times. • No trespassing on nearby properties. • Keep noise to a respectful level, especially in the evenings. • Any form of disturbance, disrespect, or inappropriate behavior toward the neighbors is strictly prohibited. 4. No Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. You may smoke outside but please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. 5. No Pets Pets are not allowed on the property under any circumstances. 6. No Parties or Events We do not allow any parties, events, or gatherings indoors or outdoors. 7. No Speakers To maintain a peaceful environment for everyone: • No outdoor speakers. • No loud music or amplified sound indoors or outdoors. 8. Fire Safety 🔥 Bring your own firewood if you plan to use the firepit. Please follow these fire safety rules: • No open-air burning between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. • Fires must be attended at all times by a responsible adult. • Burn only clean, dry, seasoned wood never garbage, painted wood, or construction materials. • Fire size must remain under 1 meter (3 feet) in height and diameter. • Keep a fire extinguisher, water bucket, or hose nearby at all times. • Fires must be fully extinguished before going to sleep or leaving the area. • Do not burn during windy conditions or when smoke may disturb others. • Maintain a safe distance from trees, structures, or anything flammable. • Non-compliance may result in fines under the Town of Georgina’s Fire By-law. 9. Parking Please do not park on the grass. There is a septic tank beneath the surface. Any damage caused will result in charges. Use only the designated driveway for parking. Do not park at the neighbours parking. Space. 10. Nearby Beaches You’re welcome to enjoy the nearby public beaches Sibbald Point Provincial Park and Holmes Point just five minutes away by car. Important Beach Rules: About private beach close by the cottage. • Beach access is allowed only during your stay. After check-out, any access will be considered trespassing. •While at the beach, please follow the same rules you follow at the house: • Be respectful • No loud noise or music • No trespassing on other people’s private property • No inappropriate or disruptive behavior • Do not disturb nearby homes or other beachgoers. These areas are shared spaces, and we value good relationships with the community. 11. Restricted Areas • The boathouse is off-limits to guests. • Please do not enter the third bedroom located near the laundry room.
