Cozy cabin at Grimsdalen

Great location year-round. The nearest ski lift is 30 minutes away, but cross-country trails pass right by the cabin, giving easy access to winter activities. In summer, enjoy hiking south toward Rondane or north toward Dovrefjell. The cabin is just below the tree line, close to the toll road to Grimsdalsvegen. To prepare the cabin, we send a website in advance with info and options to pre-order bed linen, towels, firewood, EV charging, and more. These are not included. The space The cabin is a traditional family retreat, where children can have fun in the loft with a TV and games, and the family can enjoy cozy moments by the fireplace in the living room. The outdoor area is simple yet spacious, featuring a fire pit and plenty of room for everyone! There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, along with a well-equipped bathroom divided into a toilet, shower, and laundry area. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a tasty dinner. The loft offers even more space, with a bathroom, an additional bedroom, and a cozy loft lounge. The ceiling height is very low upstairs, making it a favorite spot among the youngest guests. Other things to note There are great opportunities for hunting and fishing in the mountains. More information will be available at the cabin. Like many other mountain areas in Norway, the region is especially well-suited for cycling trips. Please note that there is a toll road leading up to Grimsdalsvegen, as is common with many privately owned mountain roads in Norway. As we’ve unfortunately experienced ourselves, the toll must be paid per trip—there is no time-based window after each passage.
