The apartment consists of a bright living room with a covered terrace furnished with table and chairs and view of the garden, mountains and Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto; a fully equipped open kitchen and a dining area with a 40" android TV and a big table which can be used as a work station too; one bedroom with a comfortable double bed and an armchair that can be converted into a big, single bed to accommodate a child as a possible third guest (a cot is available for babies); a walk-in closet for clothes; a large bathroom with shower, bidet and a big, bright window. A BIT OF HISTORY La Petite Dame is part of an elegant, historical villa which was originally the manor house of Antonio Cappelletto, the first estate administrator of the adjacent Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, and also the place where the past Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti came to relax and recharge. EVERYTHING AT YOUR FINGERTIPS Only 100 m away there is the embarkation point for spectacular lake cruises to the Borromean Islands, as well as a safe and panoramic cycle and jogging route that borders the lake and connects La Petite Dame to beaches, restaurants, bars and other main attractions such as the theatre, open markets and shops. And only two minutes’ drive away there is also the ferry boarding to the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore. The Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto are right facing the property. In addition to relaxing walks or bike rides, it is possible to practice many water activities, horse-riding, mountaineering and hiking in the close-by mountains, play golf or tennis, have fun at the adventure park or with the zipline, as well as enjoy excellent gourmet dishes accompanied by quality wines! Guest access Exclusively available only for the registered guests (max 2 adults and 1 child up to 12 years old): - a 75 sqm apartment with a covered terrace and access via an external staircase with few steps; - a 160 sqm garden with access from an independent pedestrian gate; - a private parking, located next to the pedestrian gate. The entire property, its facilities and services are available for and can be used ONLY by paying, registered guests. No visitors allowed. Other things to note La Petite Dame is ideal for 2 people but can also accommodate 1 child up to 12 years old thanks to the large armchair-bed, available in the bedroom, which can be converted into a comfortable third bed or, upon request, it is possible to have a small bed/cot for babies. We kindly ask you to notify us when booking if there is a child as a third guest, specifying the age, and if you need the small bed for babies. Available for babies there is also a highchair.
