We offer you the most thorough cleaning between every guest and want this to be your home away from home. Enjoy the peacefulness of the cottage while laying in the hammock or sitting by the firepit or while sitting on the front porch of the cottage being outdoors while being a short drive away from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You are about 15-19 minutes from the entrance to Dollywood and just around the corner from the GSMNP! The space Come to the cottage in the woods and enjoy sitting on the porch listening to nature or enjoy a short drive to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the National Park. We can help you make your stay even more special by giving local tips and suggestions. All one level cottage cleaned to the highest level while sanitizing and washing all bedding and shower curtains to even the trash cans and other things the guests before you have touched. There is a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in a studio-like setting with a 4” memory foam mattress. There is a 43" SmarTV in the living room and jet pack WiFi available. We have a cell phone tower nearby that makes for great phone service. There is also a Keurig Coffee Maker in the kitchen that we have added with a coffee bar for a few supplies that you can use. We want you to come back and keep creating memories. You will enjoy the privacy of while still knowing the owner lives on the property (we have 8 acres) if you need anything at all. We have goats, chickens, sheep, pigs, turkeys, and horses and built a barn for all of them to go in. Enjoy them from your car as you are going to the cottage, or you are welcome to stop and feed them! They have become a guest favorite!! Meet Obi, Merty, Ellie, our newest baby goat Mikey, Penny, and now Coffee and Cream (twins), and many others that are just friends to us. Battery operated candles are provided for you and you will have a bucket of brochures and guides, as well as, a welcome gift from your host. Travel time from the Cottage to: - Downtown Gatlinburg 8.3 mi/17 min -Pigeon Forge 11 miles/18 min -Sevierville 11 miles/ 19 min -Dollywood 11 miles/19 min -GSMNP Entrance at Sugarlands 11 mi/25 min -GSMNP Entrance at Greenbrier 5.2 mi/10 min Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the secluded hollow on the property where the cottage is located while laying in the hammock, sitting by the firepit roasting s’mores hearing the owls and seeing turkeys, or enjoying a the cozy front porch while drinking freshly brewed cup of coffee from the Keurig located at our coffee bar. You have full private access to the cottage while you are guests. We have just added goats, chickens, bottle lambs, and horses and built a barn for all of them to go in. Enjoy them from your car as you are going to the cottage, or we will let you feed them! Other things to note We offer camping chairs and river towels to use while staying with us and can be taken to the national park. We have many books and maps in the cottage that you may enjoy while you are there and help you decide which way you may want to take that day. Anything you can think of that you need, we will try our best to accommodate.
