Description
Sierra Palms is 1/2 mile from Casa Cubuy. All rooms have private baths. The Rainforest room can sleep 3 persons. It has a balcony with views of the rainforest, waterfalls & ocean. A private trail takes you to a river pool & waterfalls. There is a fully equipped kitchen shared with two other rooms. The rate is for 2 persons. There is an extra person charge of $40 per person, per night. The space The Rainforest has its own private bathroom with hot water, flushing toilets, and panoramic views of the rainforest due to the open air concept. All the glass panels are screen covered to keep the bugs out! The coqui (small frog that is the national symbol of PR) can be heard singing throughout the night and eats all the mosquito larvae! Our unique location gives guest easy access to hiking trails in El Yunque Rainforest. One of these trails will take you to the infinity pool which has acquired local fame due to its spectacular views of the forest and onto the ocean beyond. Guest access Guests have free parking outside the cement privacy wall that blocks any noise from the street. Our road dead ends into the El Yunque National Rainforest, so driving up the street will take you to more trails than you could ever explore! Other things to note The total price does not include 7% room tax, that will charged on arrival either via credit card or paid in cash. Guests at the Rainforest Room can join us for an all you can eat breakfast at the main Casa Cubuy Ecolodge for $12 per person. Please notify Marianne or Matthew a day in advance to allow time for preparation. Nearby attractions: Bird watching, Horseback riding, Hang-gliding, Kayaking in the bioluminescent bay, Boat ride and snorkeling trip, Two important Nature Reserves. Botanical Gardens in Caguas. Two Golf Courses 30 minutes away.
