Zion Elgon House

We are located in the middle of the mountains with a lot of greenery and hiking opportunities around. Here you can enjoy the peaceful environment, interact with the locals and enjoy our culture. We also have guides who can take you to the nearest waterfalls, caves, forests and beautiful landscapes. Also, here are plenty of local fruits that you can buy from the markets, you can learn how to cook local food and you can enjoy freshly prepared coffee from our gardens. The space We currently have modest accommodation with five medium size bedrooms. They all include a bed with bedding a mosquito net, power plugs for charging your devices, a working table and a chair. Guest access You will have access to your room, the toilets, shower and the kitchen. During your stay The accommodation is attached to a clinic building where I am working. Next to the accommodation is also a school and a church, which you are welcome to visit. During daytime, me and my team will be working at the clinic, but we are always available for support, guidance and help. Other things to note In the prices included are 3 meals a day, which are mostly vegetarian and vegan based. If you want to cook yourself you are free to do so, but be aware that there are no nearby supermarkets. This means in case you want to prepare your own meals, you would need to get your food supplies before you get here.
