The Lazy Cow Shed

Get cosy and settle into this rustic space. The Lazy Cow Shed will give you a space to relax and chill in a peaceful setting of the countryside - quiet and restful with a lovely view . We are very dog friendly! The Lazy Cow Shed is located only minutes from Abergavenny town which offers a castle and two lovely parks to wander around - 4 supermarkets and some unique shops to explore - lots of great places to eat and drink . Skirrid mountain and Sugar Loaf mountains are within easy reach The space The Lazy Cow Shed is attached to our farmhouse but it has its own entrance to private accommodation comprising of kitchen / breakfast room within a lovely bright conservatory, this includes a microwave, fridge, George Forman grill, air fryer, toaster and kettle -( no cooker ) - tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread or crumpets will be provided for breakfast. Also basic condiments are provided in case you choose to cook or use the BBQ for any meals. There is a relaxing sitting room with beautiful beams and double sided wood burner -smart tv/ DVD player - plenty of DVDs to choose from and books to browse. There is a large bedroom area with en suite shower room - King size bed - double sided wood burner shared with the sitting room - again beautiful beams , hammock, and patio doors leading to a private patio and grass area. The patio is furnished with garden furniture, fire pit and BBQ. There is also the hot tub offering a superb view particularly for star gazing. Although the property is attached to our house the conservatory and refurbished barn area is separated with a small fence to allow you the privacy and seclusion required to relax. Guest access The refurbished barn and attached conservatory with hot tub area , patio area and grassed area are all for your use alone - I will need to check the hot tub daily but this is to ensure the water levels are correct and will only take a few minutes every day of your stay. This will be undertaken discretely and without any intrusion . Other things to note No Cooker / hob - only appliances mentioned. Our chicken may encroach your area as she is free range but our dogs will be kept totally separate from your rented area. We are dog friendly but would ask if your dog is used to relaxing on the furniture please could you use the blankets provided to protect everything.
