The Elion Blue Studio is an 25 sqm 1 bedroom studio with private bathroom and private entrance surrounded by a lush garden. It was completely renovated in a modern Cycladic style. The fantastic beaches of the west coast start at Agía Ánna, 3.8 km from the studio. The house is outside the settlement cores in the gentle hills and therefore offers more rest and relaxation than in the centers of the villages and tourist resorts on the beach. The space Completely renovated, the Elion Blue Studio is a 25 sqm 1-room studio on the ground floor of a newer detached house, surrounded by a lush garden with many evergreen trees and shrubs. One enters the studio through a private entrance from the garden. There is a small Cycladic Patiti style kitchenette with fridge (with freezer compartment), sink, kettle, plates, glasses and cutlery, but no cooking facilities (no stove). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. Hot water is 24 hrs. accessible. In the studio there is a large double bed (1.90m x 1.60m) made of wood, handcrafted on the island by a local carpenter. There is a large Cycladic style built in sliding door wardrobe with shelves and hanging rail. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets for a quiet, undisturbed sleep. There is an air-condition (AC) for cooling in midsummer. The studio on the ground floor has its own terrace in front of the entrance with a brick bench, chairs and a table as well as a view of and access to the garden. The terrace offers shade in the morning and until after the midday heat, and sun in the evening. If you like sun all day long, you will always find a sunny spot in the garden. The entire garden area in front of and next to the studio is accessible to guests. From the garden you have a great view to the northwest over the Livádi plain to the sea and Náxos town with the Venetian castle. The studio is 3.8 km from the sea in Agía Ánna, one of the island's seaside tourist centers. The fantastic beaches of the west coast connect directly to Agía Ánna. The house and property are outside of the settlement core in the gently sloping hills south of Náxos town and therefore offer more peace and relaxation than in the centers of the villages and tourist resorts directly on the beach. A rental vehicle is highly recommended and can be arranged with pleasure. The distance to Náxos town and the port is around 7 km, to the small island airport 5 km. Bakeries, butchers and small supermarkets are in the two nearby villages of Vívlos and Glinádo (2 minutes by car). Drinking water can also be tapped free of charge from public fountains there. The studio has free internet via Wifi. Mobile phone reception in the studio and in the garden is problem-free. Next door, an apartment is rented, which is structurally separated by a privacy screen using a marble natural stone wall to ensure privacy. The accommodation is quiet, yet close to the tourist centers of the island and offers a relaxing holiday away from the city and beach hustle and bustle. Smoking is not permitted in the studio or in the garden due to the increased risk of fire in summer. Guest access Guests have access to the garden with sunny and shady spots, as well as to a vacant yard in the neighborhood. From the garden and the yard you have a wonderful view over a green plain to the Aegean Sea and the skyline of Naxos town with its Venetian castle. Other things to note I do not provide beach equipment (beach towels, sun loungers, parasol, children's toys, etc.). It is not allowed to take the towels from the apartment to the beach. Please bring your own beach towels. Smoking is not permitted in the studio and in the garden due to the increased risk of fire in the summer months. From January 1, 2025, the Greek government impose a special overnight tax (so called "clima tax") on Airbnb guests of 8 euros per night (applies per room and not per person).
