We affectionately call it BASECAMP Ellijay. You have everything you need to explore Ellijay and North Georgia but you also have everything you need to unwind and relax without ever leaving the grounds. “This property was everything I dreamed of for our ‘cabin in the woods’ getaway.” - Richard Russ and I fell in love with Ellijay when we were looking for a cabin in North Georgia for our family. Ellijay has heirloom orchards, tranquil rivers, mountain trails, craft breweries, local vineyards, antique shopping and so much more. And the Coosawattee River Resort community is packed with even more amenities. We wanted our cabin to serve as the ideal BASECAMP for it all. The first thing you’ll notice is that Basecamp Ellijay is not your grandmother’s cabin. During the day we suggest you take hikes on the trails by the river, nap on the floating daybed built for two, or read a book about forest fairies on our porch swing. And whether you were out adventuring all day or at the cabin relaxing, find your way to the fire pit in the evening because that’s where memories and perfectly melted marshmallows are made my friend. The indoor fireplace is unavailable for use from April 1 to October 1. We hope you’ll enjoy the neon sign for some extra mood lighting during the warmer summer months! After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should bever be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.
