It's a paradise for families or friends! The space During your vacation, you will fully enjoy a modern, kid-friendly, eco-friendly, very bright, refined and comfortable house on the heights of Die, with inspiring and unobstructed views of the mountains. Our house, a detached house of 150 m2 just for you, can accommodate up to 10 people (11 if you squeeze in). It is composed (upstairs) of a large living room bathed in light with open kitchen, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 8); and a generous connecting studio on the ground floor (sleeps 2 + 1 extra). There are 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. Our house, very well maintained, is equipped with high quality equipment (including bedding) and storage spaces dedicated to you. Outdoor: • Dining: tables for 10 people, a barbecue and a pergola on a large 60 m2 terrace • Play: trampoline, sandbox, ping pong, basketball hoop • Swimming: in a large swimming pool (8 x 3 meters), open from June to September, in full sun, with incredible views of the mountains. You can swim a few laps, bask in the water, play with your children, or just soak your feet. Ideal for cooling off and creating great memories! You can also swim in the beautiful swimming pool of Die and in the Drôme river, a 5-minute drive from the house. • Take it easy, read, daydream… in the deckchairs and hammock This house is ideal for families: nearby bedrooms, "quiet" studio (for teens/grandparents/or playroom), leisure (books, games...), secure swimming pool (shutter), baby kit. On the other hand, there is no safety barrier on the stairs of the living room. The vacation rental is located in a quiet area in the heart of nature, on a small hill, while being close to the center of Die (15 min walk, 5 min by bike, 3 min by car). This ancient Roman city, nestled at the foot of the Vercors (475m altitude), is located in the Drôme, between the Alps and Provence, 2 hours from Lyon by car and 3.5 hours from Paris by train. Here, between Mountains and Rivers, it is a paradise for lovers of nature and animals, sportsmen, ecologists... and also the curious, the bon vivants, fans of the sweetness of life... thanks to a multitude of activities, for young and old, and incredible landscapes. Swimming (swimming pool, rivers, bodies of water, etc.), sports (cycling, hiking, canoeing, via ferrata, paddle, canyoning, caving, climbing, horseback riding, tennis, paddle, etc.), recreational activities (tree climbing, cani rando, scooter, watergame, rail sledging, wakeboarding, etc.), visits and workshops (distillery, wine estates/ Clairette, places of memory of the Resistance, caves, farms, picturesque villages, etc.), not to mention winter activities (alpine skiing, skating, sledding, biathlon, dog sledding, etc.). Not to mention Die, a small, lively and authentic town with its 3rd century ramparts, charming alleys, local creators and producers, restaurants, cafes, guinguettes, festivals, market and swimming spots! It's sometimes hot in the Drôme. During the day, the house enjoys different orientations and terraces to enjoy the shade and a swimming pool to cool off. If you need freshness, you will appreciate, in the surroundings, swimming pool, rivers, bodies of water, caves, forests, Vercors massif... In the evening, the nights remain cool, which means that you sleep well there. Throughout the seasons, the landscapes and atmospheres are magical, the activities adapt between mountains and rivers! Our house is appreciated all year round, in winter the sun floods the large bay windows, the house located facing south is very pleasant to stay in... and a good fire warms the bodies and hearts! In winter, Die remains lively with its market and small shops, and you can enjoy beautiful getaways on the Vercors plateau (snowshoeing, skiing, sledding...). It's impossible to get bored! We are pleased to entrust you with our home and have chosen to invest in very good quality equipment. Treat this home like it's your home! The house is not suitable for parties. In the event of non-compliance with the rules of the vacation rental (damage, cigarette smell, parties, etc.), a deduction may be applied to the security deposit or via the AirCover guarantee. The use of the pool implies compliance with the safety instructions (children are always under the supervision of adults) and use as well as maintenance during the stay. PETS: Dogs are welcome :) with a few rules (do not climb on mattresses/sofas, no nuisance for neighbors, etc.). STAY WITHOUT A CAR: Located 1 km from the train station and the center of Die (allow 15/20 min on foot), and close to hiking/walking trails, our cottage is ideal for stays without a car. You can have bicycles delivered to the cottage and enjoy this incredible playground that is the Diois! I don't drive and I particularly enjoy life in the countryside…by bike! 2-STAR TOURIST FURNITURE CLASSIFICATION IMPORTANT OFF-SEASON: we sometimes rent our house off-season. The bed configuration is a little different and there are our things (but it's still clean!), including Legos in the children's room, not to be touched (on the other hand, we provide a box of bricks, and lots of games, books...)
