Mid-Century Cozy Duplex Home in Port Hardy

Here you’ll be able to relax, enjoy the cozy bright living room with vaulted ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen. The home is located in a neighbourhood just off the highway. Short walk or bike into town. Port Hardy is the town with the closest access to Holberg and Cape Scott. 15 min drive to Storey’s Beach. 1.5 hr drive to the Cape Scott/San Josef Bay trail head. Note: this is the home to a cat which will not be in the space during your stay. The cat lives in the basement suite. The space You’ll have full access to all listed spaces, including two bedrooms—one with a King bed and one with a Queen bed—a full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. The home is a duplex located in a quiet neighbourhood just a short distance from the highway. Throughout the space you’ll find interesting collected art and pops of colour that give the home a warm and personal feel. My hope is that you’ll settle in and feel right at home during your stay. Both bedrooms are outfitted with Canadian brand—Douglas mattresses. A Few Things to Know— The home is best suited for adults and children 10+. There are stairways throughout the home without safety gates and no child-specific amenities are provided. The fireplace in the living room is not available for use due to insurance. There is a separate entrance basement suite within the home that is occupied, as well as a garage on the property. As this is a duplex, you may occasionally hear some sounds from the neighbouring unit, including small children’s footsteps. The sound transfer isn’t too noticeable. Laundry facilities are not available in the home. There is a laundromat located at Stryker Marine in Port Hardy. If you need help finding the address, I’m happy to point you in the right direction. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted during your stay. Guest access Rented Airbnb space, front yard, free side street parking. Other things to note Please note that a cat usually lives in this home. If you are VERY allergic this may not be the best home for you. I ensure that I do a deep clean but due to some furniture and decor being fabric I can’t guarantee you’ll be allergy free. The cat will not be in the rental suite during your stay. If you choose to allow Archie in the house for a visit (an orange cat with a crook in his tail, he wears a collar with a name tag) you are more than welcome, please let him back out before it is dark!
