You are booking the whole place 2bedrooms +kitchen + 1bath. Welcome to our Auckland guesthouse! It's private, spacious, and centrally located. You'll have a full kitchen, own entrance, and covered carport parking for 1 car-sized vehicle. It's a short drive to the CBD (15 mins, 8kms), the airport (12 mins), and Mt Smart Stadium (10 mins). Supermarkets, takeaways, cafes, bakeries, and sushi are nearby. Buses a short walk away. Comfortable beds for a restful sleep. Sleeps 4max. Ideal for 2 couples/ friends or a family of 4. Two spacious bedrooms. The master is the larger of the two has a comfortable medium queen-sized bed, bedside tables, lamps, fan, dark curtains, and a dresser. The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed, dark curtains, bedside tables, lamps, fan, and a wardrobe. Both bedrooms have power boards for extra plugs. The bathroom and toilet are separate and at the other end of the hallway from the bedrooms, separated by a small rear foyer and back door. The eat-in styled kitchen has all you'd expect of a full working kitchen with the addition of an electric hob for those with a fear of gas (we understand) a microwave, a dishwasher, oven, full-sized fridge freezer, and all you need to use them. It also has a waffle maker and rice cooker. Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk are provided, as well as cooking oil, salt, and pepper. We take great pride in our hygiene here and all linen is changed every time. We use borax to sanitise and give the cotton a nice fresh feel and smell. We air dry whenever possible. We disinfect after each guest as well so we do struggle with requests for late checkout or early check-ins. The guesthouse is not baby safe and has no fenced child-safe area. As the carport and garage are behind the house please take care around the driveway. Smoke alarms in both bedrooms and hallway. Wool duvet inners on both beds in winter. For lowered cars, there is a manhole cover on the footpath. This can be avoided by driving over it rather than on it. It is toward the middle and easily missed. Free street parking is available. Accessibility: There are 4 steps into the guesthouse and a sloping driveway down to parking at the back. Separate steps down from the front garden into the courtyard at front of the guest house. No entry-level shower. Shower over bath. Narrow hallway. Guest access Via lockbox. Let yourself in. The code is changed between every guest. We care about your security as much as our own. Other things to note Drive down the driveway and reverse back into the carport. As the drive is narrow for turning it is the easiest to get in and out. Not suitable for long wheelbase vehicles. Not suitable for vehicles with trailers, ladders on the roof or anything larger than a usual sedan or hatchback. Mazda 3 for example.
