Welcome to idyllic Flekkerøy. Here you will find good sun conditions and bathing opportunities. The place has a jetty and a well-furnished plot. You will find a dining area, parasol and lounge furniture where you can enjoy lovely sunny days. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to the Zoo, 20 minutes to Kristiansand city center and 3 minutes to drive to the grocery store. There are also public transport services nearby. The space The cabin has 2 associated parking spaces and the possibility to drive a car all the way down. There are several hiking trails, beaches and cliffs in beautiful surroundings, also many that are accessible for pram/wheelchair. Boat rental is offered, where the boat will be prepared at the jetty for your arrival. You can also borrow crab pots. The boat can be driven straight out into the sea opening to Svaberg or into Kristiansand city center for an ice cream or dinner at Fiskebrygga. The possibilities are many! There is also very good fishing in the sea at the cabin. A small green rowing boat is borrowed free of charge (shared with the neighboring cabin) where small and large can row around the area or take an expedition to Gamløya free area just a few minutes rowing out. Flekkerøy offers a lot of history from World War II and you can see ruins and bunkers, among other things. On Sundays you can visit the History Society where they sell waffles and coffee. Here they have an exhibition in the basement from Flekkerøy in the past. There are also several cafes on Flekkerøy, some are open all year round, while others are open in summer. Two of the cafes can be reached by boat where you can enjoy a better lunch and ice cream. Guest access In the cabin you will find: 1st floor Kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Dining room with space for 8 people and sofa corner. Wood-burning stove for heating. Bathroom with washing machine/dryer, toilet, shower and sink. Storage room with access to storage and freezer. Bedroom with bunk bed (two sleeping places). 2nd floor Attic room with TV and sofa, two bedrooms with double bed in one room and two single beds that can be put together to double bed in the other. A smaller bedroom with two beds. Internet, TV and electricity are included in the rent. Bed linen and towels must be brought by yourself! There are regular single duvets on all beds and all beds can be separated. For stays of 1-2 nights, cleaning is done by yourself. Other things to note The neighbor rents out a boat if desired. It is an Askeladden 14 ft with 10 hp. NOK 1000 for one day, NOK 750 for 2-6 days and NOK 3500 per week + petrol. The boat is pictured in front of the dock. It is only rented to orderly people. No parties allowed.
