From glamping to kayaking, this is the place. It is located on the edge of the Illinois River, but there is no direct water access. Private beach access is 1.7 miles up the road. This property provides you with plenty of room to host your entire family get together: 8 beds, 2 king, 2 queens, 2 doubles, 3 twins! We have a wonderful huge covered awning which allows year-round use! What’s new: outdoor tv and shower and children’s swing set! Must be at least 30 years old to rent! I.D. Required The space The River's Edge Whole House, has a lovely, full winter view, wildlife, wonderful song birds, smells of the forest and river, and breezes which will relax you and make you want to move. Roast smores’ by the campfire and enjoy the countryside teeming w deer. Guest access You will access from the front door and have full access minus 2 locked storage areas. Other things to note There are many deer so be extra careful at dawn and dusk. This may sound petty but, all trash must be bagged as trash co. won’t pick up loose trash. We diligently try to preserve the natural surroundings, and ask that you do the same. We offer options for recycling paper/cardboard, plastics, aluminum cans and glass but please do not put trash in them. Please, if you want to clean your car out, put it in bags. An additional charge will be incurred if not. Please enter the hot tub with clean feet and body. Oils will not filter out and an additional charge could be processed. Hot tub will be closed once day temps reach upper 70’s.
