Enjoy the best of Austin in our peaceful, centrally located guesthouse, a fully private hideaway in a quiet backyard smack in the middle of one of the city's neatest neighborhoods . This unit is within easy walking distance to over two dozen local bars, restaurants and coffee shops as well as DKR Stadium, Disch-Falk Field and the Moody Center. Multiple bus lines and light rail allow easy access to downtown and beyond, or take a 5 minute Uber to 6th street. The space The guesthouse features two bedrooms and one full bath. The main bedroom boasts a queen sized bed equipped with a new Novaform memory foam mattress and the second is a flexible working space with a desk and external monitor as well as a single bed. Guests can enjoy a comfy living room with a 4k smart tv for kicking back, as well as a well-equipped kitchenette stocked with coffee and tea. Feel free as well to enjoy our shady shared courtyard patio or picnic at the pocket park just steps from your front door. Guest access The entire guesthouse is at your disposal. Our lot is large and winding and legend has it there's even a bar tucked away somewhere back there. Please keep your use of the patio limited to outside of quiet hours. We live in the main house right next door so you may see us and our greyhound milling about, doing chores or having a beer in the detached speakeasy we built (yes I will pour you one.) Other things to note This is not just an AirBnB: we host friends and family from all over the world here and have pulled out all of the stops to make this space special, comfy and unique. You will not find bargain bin toiletries or uninspired decor here! We aim for you to have a great experience in our hometown and have worked to create an amazing home base for all of our visitors.
