Guests have access to entire cottage and yard. Owner is next door on adjoining property. No central A/C. Fans are available in both rooms. Well water may have a taste/odor so we provide distilled water in the refrigerator as well as a tap water filter. Firewood not provided for the fire pit. Bring fishing rods if you'd like to fish outside the cottage. The EOM cottage was built in the 1940s as a club house for eight men from Vassar, MI who met Every Other Monday night for pretzels, poker and fun. It was later sold to the Vassar American Legion and served as a meeting spot for many years. We have updated the decor and amenities to modern tastes but strive to keep this historical connection alive for our guests!
