Every effort has been made to restore and protect Wheelwright’s original features during its renovation including original flagstone slate floors and inviting facade. The interior features a combination of handpicked antique pieces and luxurious fixtures and fittings alongside a generous enclosed garden with outdoor seating and cooking facilities resulting in the perfect place to unwind with family and friends all year round. Wheelwright House is perfectly positioned with the local pub and village store within walking distance. Alternatively for those wanting to explore further afield, the famous seaside village of Port Isaac is only a 15 minute drive away and Padstow less than 25 minutes. The house sleeps up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children) across 4 bedrooms and is dog friendly. At the front of the house is a generous living room with plenty of space for everybody to relax and unwind. Whether you choose to catch up on the latest Netflix series on the Smart TV, gather round and play a board game or just light the wood-burner and warm up after a sea swim, there is something for everyone. As you continue into the open-plan kitchen and dining space, you will find all you need for enjoying home cooked meals prepared on the AGA. Turn on the radio and relax with a drink in hand and if the whether allows it, open up the double french doors and make use of the outdoor space. Whether its for cooking, drying out coats or warming up after a wintery walk, the AGA really is the heart of this space and you will find everyone gravitates towards the endearing warmth it provides (dogs included). At the bottom of the dining room is another small seating area, perfect for little ones to retire to after dinner or for cosying into whilst reading your favourite novel. As you head up the stairway, you will come to the open plan hallway. Here, there is a desk and stool for anyone needing to catch up on a few emails or for writing a postcard to family and friends at home. The family bathroom is on the left hand-side with a large bath tub perfect for a long soak after a busy day exploring. The Master Bedroom can be found to the right of the staircase and features a beautiful solid oak and linen king size bed. The adjoining ensuite has recently been renovated with a waterfall shower and luxurious marble floor. There are two additional double bedrooms, both generous in size with plenty of storage for clothes and belongings. The fourth bedroom is a cosy bunk room, perfect for young children (please note that the top bunk has limited head space). All bedrooms feature Hypnos mattresses, 200 thread count linen and duck feather and down pillows to ensure a good nights sleep.
