Welcome to our charming countryside retreat! Nestled in a great location just off the M6 close to Alsager, our traditional cottage offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. You'll be enchanted by the stunning garden and breathtaking countryside views. Relax by the cosy fireplace or explore nearby local areas of Alsager, Sandbach, Congleton and Knutsford. Embark on scenic walks along the Salt Line or canal. Finish with a drink in one of the local pubs a five minute walk away The space The Cottage combines modern finishes and rustic country charm, a semi-detached property, deceptively spacious, backing onto a lush green field. Inside, be treated to all the luxuries with a king-sized bed, two double beds, a single and a sofa bed, a mesmerizing log burner, cosy living spaces and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a cup of tea or a prosecco in the large garden looking out onto the field behind, you may be lucky enough to spot our family of buzzards in the trees. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire cottage as well as free wifi, parking on the driveway, full use of your own washing machine and dishwasher. Outside, guests have access to the entire garden and patio area with garden seating at the top and bottom overlooking the field. Other things to note Located just one mile outside the little town of Alsager and three miles from the pretty market town of Sandbach. Knutsford with it's quaint little bustling streets and the famous Tatton Park is also just a short twenty minute drive. Takeaways and restaurant recommendations - Caster's of Cheshire The Vault Indian Heaven Restaurant in Alsager Chinese and Thai - The Orient Sandbach Mr Bigz Flavours - Afro/Caribbean Alsager Noughts and Crosses Pizzeria - Sandbach Filotimo - Greek Restaurant Sandbach The Horseshoe Inn Pub - Lawton Heath End (a five minute walk away) The Old Hall - Grade 1 listed pub Sandbach Places to see - Little Moreton Hall Biddulph Grange Gardens Trentham Gardens Tatton Park Mow Cop Castle Wheelock Hall Farm Rode Hall Farmers market which is at the beginning of each month The Salt line - take Roughwood Lane parallel to our house by crossing over our road. Half way down Roughwood Lane on the left is a kissing gate through to a field, walk down and access the Salt Line for a lovely walk. The Trent and Mersey Canal - this can be accessed by walking through the fields behind us - access is via a public footpath if you turn right from our house and through the driveway of the painted white house a few houses down. Meander along the canal watching the barges make their way through the locks, stop for a drink at the Broughton Arms right on the canal. Hall Farm shop for lovely sausages and burgers Bradwall Bakehouse in Sandbach is a must for fresh artisan breads! Further afield but not too far at all - Alton Towers, Emma Bridgewater factory in Stoke on Trent, Waterworld. Supermarkets - Waitrose, Aldi and B and M in Sandbach Asda in Alsager, a huge Marks and Spencer in Wolstanten
