YORK - Excellent value for 3 people! A family room, 1 Double bed suitable for a couple and 1 single bed in our shared family house. EASY WALK to pub, shop, cafe, Cantonese restaurant, bus stop to York City (6 miles) or call Uber. Shared bathrooms/dining room. We are very popular as exactly half way on the traditional London > York > Edinburgh route. Perfect for a York City break, (for 3 people) ! Free parking and a short drive to the city. University visits, York Festivals, Markets etc. (we are only 6 miles away in beautiful countryside on our animal sanctuary rescue farm) One hour from famous Whitby, the North Yorkshire Moors and the East Coast Beaches. We are a traditional English family shared country farm house. Billy’s room has a double bed suitable for a couple plus a single bed so three people in total. Infants under 5 please bring travel cot/crib/or mattress protector. This room has a wardrobe and dressing table/desk, refreshments. First floor level, 14 steps up. There are shared bathrooms/ dining room plus a communal games/family room with pool table, arcade games, tv, juke box, a kitchenette with fridge freezer/microwave snack preparation area and kettle plus refreshments. You may not use your own electrical cooking equipment such as rice/noodle makers, sorry. Within 7 minutes Walking distance to bus stop into York, village shop/cafe, our Excellent Cantonese restaurant/takeaway, traditional English country pub/restaurant, play park, chippy etc. Uber to York approx £15 Don’t pay expensive York car parking fees! Bus stop 7 minutes walk (number 40) and it is a 22 minutes ride into the city for a £3 bus fare , hourly, and the journey is through lovely English country villages too! Other rooms available in the house (twin bed rooms, bedsit, doubles) Please enquire. (One room per booking) A very quiet and restful family house and village. Outdoor lawns, paddocks with firepit, bbqs, garden patio dining furniture, and a rescued animal sanctuary. Check in between 3-6pm (for a flexible later check in please check with Tracy) We are here to help and support you on your journey Guest access Welcome to beautiful York, North Yorkshire, England Guests are welcome to use the dining hall, perfect for your takeaway food, (no kitchen cooking facilities, but we have a games/family room with a kitchenette, fridge freezer/microwave for your snacks, also outdoor patio area.) extensive gardens and under supervision visit our private Animal Sanctuary, allocated parking for one car. Access via front door or rear games room door. During your stay Hosts Tracy and Gary live in the house, will meet and greet all guests and be available throughout the guests stay. Communal kitchenette, family games room and dining hall. Shared bathrooms and additional toilet We have other guest rooms available also. There are communal areas, games room, bbq/decking areas/dining areas etc. If you would prefer to self cater we have also available a Jacuzzi Cottage, a Glamping Lodge and a campsite. Other things to note Free of charge Car parking is available for one car. We also have a camping site, and a self catering Jacuzzi hot tub holiday cottage, a Glamping Log Cabin plus an animal sanctuary on site. Billy’s room will sleep total 3 people in a double and a single bed. Any infants will be included in this number and please bring your travel cot/mattress/crib. Easingwold is just 4 miles away and has an abundance of cafes/pubs/hotels/takeaways for your breakfast, lunch or evening meal. Check in is between 3-6pm (however we may be able to offer a later check in, please message Tracy) Yes we get many guests who stay with us who use public transport. It is easy! We are 6 miles away and a 22 minute pleasant bus journey through lovely farming villages to York City. Occasionally our guests take Uber which is around £15. The bus fare is £3, the number 40 (Transdev) leaves our village at around quarter past every hour (2 hourly on Sundays) The bus stop is 7 minutes walk away from our property. Hope this helps?
