The space Scotch Terrace is a traditional three-storey Georgian townhouse accommodating up to six guests across three comfortable double bedrooms. It is well suited to families, groups of friends and professionals visiting or working in Whitehaven. Each bedroom provides storage for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen, bath towels and hand towels are supplied for your stay. The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower. The welcoming living room features two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV, allowing guests to sign in to their own streaming accounts. The townhouse retains several attractive period-style details, including traditional windows, decorative coving and a feature fireplace. The modern kitchen is equipped for both short visits and extended stays, with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, cookware, utensils and crockery. French doors lead from the kitchen to a small enclosed yard. Guests receive a small starter supply of toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll and laundry capsules. A convenience store and local fish and chip shop are just a few doors away. Whitehaven is approximately 27 miles from Keswick and provides a convenient base for exploring the western Lake District and Cumbrian coast. The property is also well located for professionals working near West Cumberland Hospital, Sellafield and Westlakes Science Park. Please note that the accommodation is arranged across three storeys and includes internal stairs. Guest access Guests will have private use of the entire townhouse, including all three bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen, living room and small enclosed yard. Full check-in and access instructions will be shared approximately 24 hours before arrival, once the required identity verification, rental agreement and £150 security-deposit pre-authorisation have been completed. The property does not have private parking. Free public parking is available within approximately a five-minute walk, subject to availability. Spaces cannot be reserved or guaranteed. Additional parking options include nearby pay-and-display car parks and local disc-parking zones. Other things to note Before check-in, the booking guest must complete identity verification, accept our rental agreement and provide a refundable £150 security deposit through our secure guest portal. The deposit is processed separately as a card pre-authorisation. It may appear as a pending transaction, but the money is not normally taken from your account. It will only be charged where necessary following damage or a breach of the disclosed house rules or rental terms. The pre-authorisation is released after checkout when no charge is required. The time taken for the pending transaction to disappear will depend on the guest’s bank. Full check-in instructions will be provided once all required pre-arrival steps have been completed. Please be aware that the townhouse is arranged across three floors and guests will need to use internal stairs. There is no private parking directly outside the property.
