Main bedroom is upstairs with a king-size bed & overlooks a huge Mulberry tree with amazing bird life. Bedroom 2 has direct access to the bathroom. Bedroom 3 has deck access overlooking the wild garden. The kitchen has a gas stove and other necessities. The space LOADSHEDDING: Yes we also get load-shedding - The difference is our stove is gas, we have semi-solar lighting outside, our water is borehole and gravity fed, and we have solar geysers. So although not perfect - we do feel that it's less stressful in the bush during load shedding than in the suburbs. Main bedroom: Upstairs with a king-size bed. It overlooks a huge mulberry tree that has amazing birdlife. Reading nook: Also upstairs with a large couch and some giant beanbags flooded with reading lights. Bedroom 2: Direct access to the bathroom which has a shower and basin. Bedroom 3: Deck access overlooking the wild garden. Lounge: Corner couch that faces the large wooden door patio. Kitchen: Fully stocked with all the necessities including electrical appliances. Patio: Giant undercover space to braai (Charcoal only please) and a large outdoor table. Entertainment area: At the bottom of the fenced-off area is a pizza oven, fire pit and separate braai area. It all overlooks a rock pool (It's a shallow splash pool - PLEASE no diving!) Water: We have very clean and safe borehole water. Greywater: We recycle our greywater. There are 2 taps marked not for drinking. Kids area: We have 4 swings and a monkey swing just outside the fenced-off area with a large sandpile that the kids are welcome to play in. Please note the following: If you are allergic to pets then please don't book. • We have 2 farm cats: Rose and Thorn - they rid the house of all sorts of creepy crawls and rats – they were feral cats that were abused as kittens. We took them in 10 years ago. They live in the house and mind their own business. • There are 2 very old dogs BB and Angel, Angel has very poor eyesight. She knows the farm very well, and maneuverers around freely. Please don’t feed them and if they are a problem Zeefa can keep them at his place. Angel and BB are good watchdogs and keep everyone alert for strange noises. • There are free-roaming chickens. They don't come into any living areas, but they do crow (The rooster) and they do mate. Guest access The cabin area is fenced off and exclusive for cabin guests only. There are communal places outside the fenced-off area. Other things to note There is a smart TV - It has no subscriptions added, you are welcome to load your own. We have free-range chickens: Please don't eat or abuse them. Our butler works on the farm and has access to the laundry etc which is in the fenced-off area. He also goes about his daily farm duties and shouldn't bother guests. We are strictly a couples getaway/family getaway. We don’t allow friends, bachelors/bachelorettes pre / after events. Our property does not cater for that. Sorry.
