For a more outdoor-focused experience, plan a hike and explore the natural wonders in the area such as Overlook Mountain & Mountain House ruins, Echo Lake, and the Big Deep lagoon. The KTD Buddhist Monastery also cannot be missed. Exit 19 on I-87 if traveling by car. There is also a bus station in Woodstock as well as Amtrak to Rhinebeck with a quick car ride to Woodstock.
