This simple, peaceful studio by our running stream has been used by our family as a song writing space, and a place for quiet reflection. Close to hiking on Ted's Trail and the Wapack Trail on North Pack Monadnock, just up the road. The studio has no electricity, and no running water except the stream for bathing. Outhouse is nearby. Bring your favorite lantern and a couple of flashlights, and anything else you like to have with you when you camp. We love this place--we hope you do too! The space This is a one room studio or cabin, very simple; with a full sized bed--sheets and towels available, a small table and two chairs etc There is a small deck overlooking the stream with two comfortable outdoor chairs The Studio has no electricity, but has battery lanterns. There is an outhouse 100 feet away, and basic washing up can be done in the stream. There are no cooking facilities, but there is a simple outdoor fire pit. This place is really suitable for a weekend, or a long weekend, but not available for long term stays. Guest access Guests will have access to the property, meadow, stream and woods. We recommend using the hiking trails just up the road, rather than wandering in the woods. Other things to note Bring flashlights, outhouse nearby, stream is very cooling for a quick bathe.
