Description
Your accommodations is literally in front of the famous Monalisa Point of San Juan, La Union, also known as the surfing capital of the North. Walking distance from bars and restaurants but away from the noise. The only thing that will wake you up in the morning is the sound of the crashing of the waves. Maximum number of guests for this room is STRICTLY 2 pax. Please read our HOUSE RULES at the bottom of the page before booking. This is important, we aim for the best vacay for our guests! The space Minimalist, straightforward and no nonsense. This room is on the GROUND FLOOR. Your room has the view of the beach. Premium beddings and mattresses will ensure a restful vacation for you. We tested out numerous mattresses and found EMMA most suitable for our rooms. On the beach is a huge kubo (hut) where guests and friends hang out from morning until sundown. La Union sunsets can be quite a spectacle! For those who need to do some work, don't worry, there is WIFI in this area. Floor mats, bean bags and Japanese "za isu" (legless chair) are provided for our guests to use. There is pay parking next door at Php 300.00 per night. Guest access Our kitchenette on the second floor has a coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and a limited amount of the famous Surfstar Cheese bread which we try to replenish everyday. The crowd favorite KUBO speaks for itself. This multi functional open space has become the favorite tambayan or hang out spot of our guests. Friends are welcome too, just please keep in mind that this is a shared space and that all rules apply. Quiet time is 10 pm, party may resume at 8am! Other things to note Surftown is also boom town. There is something being built here, there and everywhere! Unfortunately, there is construction going on on the property next to Surfstar Elyu. Some construction noise is to be expected. We follow the Airbnb Community Standards provided by Airbnb in the Help Center section. But, let's suppose some common sense isn't as common as they used to be... -- Adding guests outside of the number of guests registered - FINE: Php 20,000.00 per person added. -- Cooking is not allowed in the room, avoid eating in the room, use the balcony or the kubo, instead. It's nicer to be out there, anyway. - FINE: Php 20,000.00 -- "Partying" inside the room is not allowed. You didn't come all the way out here to do that. See our guide book for our personal favs. - FINE: Php 20,000.00 -- Stained or damaged linen and towels - FINE: Php 800.00-3,000.00. Fine will depend on severity of the damage. -- Lost key fee is Php 250.00. -- No smoking anywhere in the property, especially the bedrooms and the bathrooms. You may smoke in the parking area behind the property. FINE: Php 10,000.00 -- Connected to the previous item, the plants are loved, please do not use their planters as your ashtray. FINE: We will leave this up to Mother Nature. -- Now...vomiting on the sheets and towels...self explanatory. - FINE: Php 5,000.00 but we will throw in a banig of Ibuprofen to help ease the pain and maybe even allow you to check out later, if possible only. -- Please turn off your electricity when not in use. In La Union, electricity is gold. Bring the electricity card with you, just don't lose the darn thing. Charges will apply (Php 250.00). -- Please do rinse off sand before entering your room. Sand will clog the pipes. -- Quiet time starts at 10pm. Party can resume at 8am. -- White towels are for the bath, please do not take them outside. Striped towels may be used on the beach. -- Please dispose of your trash properly. -- View deck and kubo are for Surfstar Elyu guests only. -- Vendors shouldn't be allowed in the property, this is for everybody's safety. If you would like to buy something from a vendor, please do so on the beach, outside of our gate. -- No massages in the room, you may use the kubo and the banigs provided instead. In the event that we lose power, due to any unforeseen occurrence, the property can still run essentials (outlets for charging gadgets, wifi, fan, a light or 2) using solar batteries, but these can run out so we will ask you to please turn off your a/c and refrain from using the hot water so that we can all be comfortable much longer. Maraming salamat!!! Mylene & Lemon 🤙🏽
