The green belts there seem to go on forever and the estate features some lovely bird hides and walking trails. This beautiful traditional home is located in the scenic Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, ideal for a couple wanting to work from home, the spare upstairs bedroom serves as an addition should a friend or family member visit. The house is ideal for outdoor living and the ground floor is the heart of the home. The house has a dedicated working space where 2 people can comfortably work. The African Bush comes right up to the house and the antelope, warthogs, giraffe and an array of birds are daily visitors to this little bushveld jewel. You can enjoy sundowners after a day in the Kruger National Park or even after a long day at the office. The outside area is great for a traditional South African braai whilst relaxing at the pool. The stairs in the house are not ideal for small children and the elderly and should be avoided (they are very steep and difficult to navigate around). South Africa is currently experiencing sporadic loadshedding (up to 4 hours of no power at a time) and this affects water supply as well. The house has always on Wifi and the TV and some lights will also be permanently on during loadshedding. The Estate Management leaves no stone unturned to ensure constant water supply, but interruptions do occur from time to time. Guest access This house is rented out as a unit and is not occupied by anyone else during your stay. It is your space and none of the areas are shared. Please note that we don't allow children under 12. No pets are allowed. Other things to note Please note not to feed the animals, they are still wild animals and feeding them will cause them to become aggressive and this could have dire consequences for them. Please do not make huge fires and be mindful of the bush environment (and the potential of starting fires), put out fires before tucking in for the night.
