"The Hylton" at the Lakes!

Our newly refurbished self-contained guest suite has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing break. The newly built deck is a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee in the sun! When our adult children flew the nest, we were left rattling around in a big house! We decided to convert the space for guests ....and "The Hylton" was born! The space Attached to our home but totally private and with separate access, the "Hylton" has a bedroom for up to 2 guests with a Queen size bed. Comfortable lounge with ranch slider that opens up on to the private deck. There is a small dining table with 2 chairs, which can double as a workstation if you are travelling for business. The beverage bay has been my favorite part of the renovation project. Whilst we don't have cooking facilities, we provide the use of a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment. Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar and continental breakfast are provided. Also, a bathroom with a deep bath - bath salts provided, shower and separate toilet. Guest access Access is down the side of the house to the rear. The pathway to the rear of the house is solar lit if you are arriving after dark. There is a dedicated off-street parking area for one guest car. Also, lots of free on street parking. Other things to note We also offer free wifi, Smart TV. If you dont have your own transport we have an excellent service available in our area called the Bay Bus on Demand. Baybus OnDemand covers Tauranga South, including Gate Pa, Greerton, Parkvale, Pyes Pa, Tauriko, The Lakes and everywhere in between - connecting you to key locations like hospitals, shops and the wider Baybus network. Just book by phone or using the app on your phone. They pick you up in our street and drop you close to your destination, very much like using an Uber.
