The house is located in the center of La Spezia, the second largest city in Liguria, a 5-minute walk from the Spezia Centrale station and within walking distance of all services. La Spezia is 8 km from Portovenere and 12 km from Lerici, pearls of the Gulf of Poets. Also not far from the Cinque Terre which can be reached by train in a few minutes. The location very close to the border with Tuscany allows you to reach Forte dei Marmi and Versilia in less than an hour. FREE WIFI. The space The apartment is located on the first floor of five in a building without a lift. At the entrance you will find a corridor that leads to the living room, equipped with two sofas, a TV and a dining table. A French door makes the environment fresh and bright and provides access to the first balcony of the house. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to store, prepare and consume meals during your stay: in fact, there is a fridge and freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave oven, an Italian coffee maker ( Moka), kitchen utensils and crockery. In the apartment there are two bedrooms: the first with a double bed, a wardrobe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers and an access to the second balcony of the house. In the second bedroom you will find a second double bed, bedside tables, lamps and a chest of drawers where you will find an iron and a hairdryer. In the apartment there is also a washing machine that can be used during the stay, as well as a clothes horse, iron and ironing board. Finally, there is an elegant bathroom complete with toilet and shower. Air conditioning is not available, but you can use fans during your stay. For the winter months, the heating is autonomous with radiators. There is a Wi-Fi connection available. The house does not have private parking, but there are paid public car parks nearby. The linen is hired from a specialized company and supplied by us according to the number of people in the booking and is included in the price. For rubbish, you will have access to the bins under the building. Pets are not allowed. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the apartment, which is rented entirely, without having to share spaces with anyone else, including the internal courtyard of the house. Other things to note POSSIBLE EXTRA COSTS: 1) Tourist tax The municipality of La Spezia from 01/03 to 31/10 applies a tourist tax of € 2.50/day per person aged 16 and over (up to 5 nights) which will be collected separately. 2) Additional persons to those declared: we usually ask 20 euros per night for each additional person. 3) CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT OUTSIDE TIMES are often granted, upon agreement and by paying an EXTRA COST OF MINIMUM €30 to the person who will take care of the check-in (entry time slot 6-8 pm or early check in before 3 pm). FOR LATER ENTRY TIMES, IF POSSIBLE FOR US TO ORGANIZE, THE AMOUNT WILL BE HIGHER. HOW TO GET TO THE HOUSE By car: take the A15 highway in the direction of LA SPEZIA-SANTO STEFANO MAGRA until the LA SPEZIA exit. HOW TO GET THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT : From all Milan airports you can use the shuttle buses connecting with the Central Station active in each terminal approximately every half hour. Numerous regional or intercity trains depart from the Central Station in the direction of Genoa-La Spezia and stop at the La Spezia Centrale station (about a three/four hour journey depending on the type of train chosen). The La Spezia Central railway station is about 400 meters from the apartment which can be reached easily by foot. From Pisa Galilei airport Less than 40 meters from the Passenger Terminal, the new fully automatic and fast People Mover connection is active, with shuttles that connect the airport directly to Pisa Central Station. Operative every day from 6:00 to 24:00 (journey of about 5 minutes) From there it is possible to take a regional or intercity train towards Genoa and stop at La Spezia Centrale (45 minutes journey by intercity, about an hour and a quarter by regional). The La Spezia Central railway station is about 400 meters from the apartment which can be reached easily by foot. From the Colombo airport of Genoa With the VolaBus shuttle bus, which stops outside the Arrivals area, you can get to Genoa Piazza Principe railway station in about 30 minutes. The service is active every day, with a ride approximately every 40 minutes. ticket costs 6 euros one way (12 euros return) and is also valid for 60 minutes on all journeys on the AMT network. Children up to 4 years travel for free. Numerous regional or intercity trains leave from Principe station for La Spezia Centrale (one hour journey with intercity/about two and a half hours with regional).
