Being downtown has never been more enjoyable, and being located on a quiet side street ensures you’re able to get into the hustle and bustle with little effort. The Cellar is a recently fully renovated downtown suite located in the heart of the south end of Halifax. A great place whether you're looking for a staycation or are in town on an extended work trip. The space As the title’s indicated, this is a recently fully renovated basement suite in a historical building located downtown. The small kitchen includes full sized fridge with freezer, apartment sized oven range, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker (pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups and glasses all provided for you to use). But my suggestion would be to make the most of the fabulous restaurants and pubs located throughout the city. You’ll be sleeping on a queen size bed, with freshly laundered sheets and lovely feather(down) duvet. This is a basement suite after all but with the recent renovations, we've tried to ensure as much natural light comes in as possible while ensuring your privacy. Guest access What you see in the pictures is what you get;-) Other things to note We live upstairs with our dogs, so being in the basement you’re bound to hear people and pets upstairs moving around, but no more so than your typical basement flat. Our dogs/companions are vocal and you might see us out and about with them. We ask that all guests respect our pets and allow them to approach you of their own accord.
