Swan Cottage - Cartway

Welcome to our little cottage and to the historic & quaint town of Bridgnorth. Situated in the heart of Bridgnorth on the historic Cartway-perfectly positioned for all local amenities. Bridgnorth is located on the River Severn & home of the Severn Valley Steam Railway (SVR) there really is plenty to see & do, not to mention all of the many places to eat & drink! As this is our home too, we ask that you kindly respect it & treat it as your own. We wish you an enjoyable stay! The space A period feature cottage, situated on the famous Cartway-famed for its unique & quaint road. It is particularly narrow, please park in the car parks-not down Cartway please. Comprising of a perfectly sized lounge-complete with comfy recliner couch, large TV with Sky, armchair & under stair cupboard housing an iron, ironing board, drying rack, 2x folding chairs. The kitchen sits off of the lounge & has a large fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, induction hob, crockery & cutlery, cereals, tea & coffee, milk. The stairs lead to the master bedroom, with a king size bed, double wardrobe, additional hanging area, bedside cabinets with touch lamps & USB ports, blind & curtains, bedding plus extra pillows, a standing fan & sliding door. Follow the corridor around to the bathroom. Consisting of a bath & rainforest shower with flexi-hose. Sink, toilet & guest towels. Basic toiletries are provided. Take the stairs to the top floor to the 2nd bedroom (mind your head!) This room has a small double bed with bedding & extra pillows. Small hanging space, a tall chest of drawers & bedside drawers with a touch lamp & USB port. PLEASE NOTE NO PARKING IS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE COTTAGE-please use the car parks at Listley North & Listley South or down by the river at Riverside. Thank you Guest access The entire cottage-except the shared courtyard. Other things to note NO PARKING AVAILABLE outside the cottage-it is permit only & very narrow. The best car parks are Listley North & South-these are less than a 5 minute walk to Swan Cottage.
