In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern you will find everything that belongs to a dreamlike holiday. The proximity to the island of Usedom guarantees top gastronomy and beautiful beaches. But also with us on the "mainland side" you will find attributes that are rather rare today: e.g. a moorland of 144 hectares, in which beavers, wild geese, herons and many rare bird species are at home. High and low game – badgers, raccoon dogs, raccoons can also be observed here. The unique moorland invites you to hike, bike and picnic. On "our" mainland side there is only about 15 minutes away by car, the famous Relais & Châteaux Gutshaus Stolpe, whose kitchen has just been awarded a MICHELIN star; the property also includes the old ferry tavern located directly on the banks of the Peene, where you can dine and linger in a relaxed atmosphere. The bicycle ferry to the island of Usedom is accessible via a direct route from Bargischow. In just 15 minutes (by bike) you can reach the port "Kamp" and relax there with fish rolls (from local smokehouse) as well as soft drinks, beer, champagne or coffee and cake. The ferry crossing to the island of Usedom takes only a few minutes. The ferry route is located directly on the historic "Karniner Bridge" and ends directly in the village of Karnin. Among the most coveted leisure activities in the region is a visit to the bison enclosure on the island of Usedom, exploring the charming Peene landscape by pedal boat or paddle boat or kayak. The Hanseatic city of Anklam with its famous Otto Lilienthal Museum, the historic city wall with Anklam City Museum and various leisure facilities (indoor swimming pool, city park with animal enclosure, various restaurants, weekly market) is only 4 km away. There you will also find all the shopping facilities: Lidl, Aldi, Penny, Norma, beverage market, Famila, Deichmann, Post, DM drugstore, optician, bookstore and some fashion stores.
