Guests enter the Cabin through a small deck outside the screened in porch where you can sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. Guest enter the cabin through a large screened in porch which has an outdoor area rug, rocking chair, two daybeds, two swings, and bench to enjoy time outside. The porch is strung with lights to enjoy it in the evenings. Inside, the Cabin has a large open area with a bar, a large dining room table along a wall of windows facing the fire-pit, a fully-stocked kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, coffee makers, and a washer/dryer. Natural laundry detergent is provided. The kitchen is fully-stocked with all glassware, plates, utensils, cooking utensils, wine glasses, coffee mugs, pots, pans, baking sheets, a toaster, crockpot, and blender. As we all hate arriving to a location late and when you start to make dinner, you find there are no cooking basics… so, we keep the kitchen stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, flour, sugar, coffee, pancake mix and spices. There are also a bunch of cabin inspired cookbooks for those that need recipes! There is a smart TV with all of the streaming platforms, high-speed wireless internet, along with a stockpile of DVDS, cards, books, coloring books, markers, crayons, and games to enjoy some quiet, relaxing time at the cabin. There is also a take-one-leave-one library of books to enjoy. The living space has a cozy carpet and a queen-sized pull-out couch as well as a coffee table which is perfect for games and two other chairs. There is a working wood stove as well. The bathroom contains a sink, shower and toilet. (Please note that the furnace and water heater are in there... this is not a spa bathroom unfortunately). The cabin will be stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Guest towels, wash cloths and hand towels are provided. We provide regular and Turkish cotton towels for guest use. The first bedroom contains a queen bed with new mattress, mattress pad, and and all linens. There is a shelving unit and armoire for storage. The second bedroom contains a wooden bunkbed with a double on the bottom and a twin on top. All linens and bedding are provided. There is also a dresser and shelving unit. The second bedroom is kid-friendly and is stocked with some toys and books. There is also a t.v. in there with a DVD player. The bedrooms both contain mounted fans above the doors to help circulate air. In the warmer months, there is a window air conditioning unit. In the winter, there is a furnace and the wood stove for heat. Outside, the property is wooded. There is a fire pit to enjoy the outdoors with seating. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property except the shed. There will be a cabinet or two that may be locked off as storage for the owners. Other things to note This is a cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. While we strive to keep it as clean, cozy, and hospitable as possible, it is a cabin in a wooded area. The weather in the mountains is more unpredictable and you should be prepared for muddy roads/terrain, and snow/ice in the winter around the property and surrounding areas. Please make sure to bring appropriate vehicles, footwear and attire.
