Please see house rules. Located in beautiful Sunset Lakes – it's hard to find a vacation home closer to Walt Disney World with all that's offered at Mickey’s Lakefront Villa. Be amazed at how quiet and secluded you will feel yet just minutes away from all of the entertainment that you came here to enjoy. The space Our balcony offers views you can’t get anywhere else. Pool Our south facing private pool offers hours of sunshine. From Sunrise to Sunset you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of Mickey’s Lakefront Villa. (Please note that the pool and smaller round area are connected - that is a kiddie pool and not a spa. ) While pool heating is recommended during the cooler months of the year, we cannot guarantee the temperature of the pool when external temperatures drop. Encounters with local wildlife You may see our visiting neighbors during your stay. Sand Hill Cranes are elegant and sweet. They seem to love to stroll around the lake just for fun. Mickey’s Lakefront Villa is our Winter home. Purchased in 2014 we have been making renovations and changes for our enjoyment and yours. We have made several changes and upgrades and have more planned. We recently upgraded the pool heater, sliding doors, window treatments, after a major repainting inside and out. We hope you find the home spacious and restful. We added gaming systems and a large collection of movies for your entertainment. We have added many personal touches to make your stay a memorable one. From upgraded linens and all new bedding, to several pieces of new furnishings, to our own "hidden Mickeys" throughout, we want you to have a first-class experience. From upgraded linens and all new bedding, to new and original artwork. We invite you to enjoy this upscale “Disney themed” villa as your vacation retreat. This is a self catering home - guests are expected to provide their own personal items such as soap, tissues, paper towels, napkins etc. We make no claim that this villa is ADA compliant or officially wheelchair accessible. We have provided accessibility pictures for your information for accommodating guests who may not prefer to use the stairs. Our ground floor Master Suite has easy access to the main living areas of the villa. Step free access. Other things to note • Health & Safety: Your safety is our priority. We have no gas-burning appliances in the home and strictly follow the Airbnb enhanced cleaning protocol to ensure the villa is sparkling clean and sanitized for your arrival. • Starter Supplies: This is a self-catering home. We provide a starter kit of essentials like a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, and soap to get you settled. As these items run out, we ask that guests purchase their own for the remainder of their stay. • Pool Heating: During the cooler months (typically October-April), pool heating is highly recommended for your comfort. While the heater works hard, please be aware that we cannot guarantee a specific water temperature when the outside air temperature drops significantly. • Accessibility: While we are not officially ADA compliant, we have tried to make the villa accessible. The ground-floor Master Suite offers step-free access to the main living areas, kitchen, and pool deck.
