Beautiful Houseboat sleeps 8. Central London.

Come stay on my historic fully renovated Dutch barge in Limehouse marina! Above deck, with view towards the Thames, is a stylish, sunny lounge with a comfy sofa, armchair and fully equipped kitchen with dining table. Below deck, the barge sleeps 8 guests in four double bed cabins with two ensuite bathrooms and another separate bathroom. Spend a calm evening relaxing in the Wheelhouse or the two outside decks, admiring the open water views. We look forward to meeting you! The space The barge has full central heating with thermostatic radiators in every room so you’ll be warm and toasty! Please note that drinking water, waste water and toilets all use electrical pumps. ABOVE DECK: SALOON This is above deck and has lovely views of the marina and the Thames. There is a comfy three seater sofa and an armchair. There is a extendable dining table and chairs to fit up to 6 guests. There is a door which leads out onto the deck and the stairs leading down the bedrooms and bathrooms. Please note: The woodburner is not for guest use. KITCHEN A fully equipped modern kitchen with all the crockery and pots and pans you might need. There is a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and plenty of storage. The tap water is normal drinking water. WHEELHOUSE This is the original wheelhouse. We have created a bench area where you can comfortably sit and watch the world go by. The original wheel has been refashioned into a table. OUTSIDE DECK Relax on the decking if the weather is good. There is a big table and comfy patio chairs. BELOW DECK Please note: The bedrooms have portholes. No one can see inside, but the sun shines in the mornings! Each guest is supplied with one towel. BEDROOM 1 Double medium firm IKEA mattress with hanging clothes rail. BEDROOM 2 Double medium firm IKEA mattress with hanging wardrobe and drawers. Ensuite bathroom with spacious shower, basin and marine toilet. Please note: The room has portholes so there are no curtains! BEDROOM 3 Double medium firm IKEA mattress with hanging wardrobe and drawers. Ensuite bathroom with spacious shower, basin and marine toilet. Please note: The room has portholes so there are no curtains! BEDROOM 4 Queen sized mattress with hanging clothes rail and side floor lamp. SEPARATE BATHROOM Adjoining bedroom 4, from the hallway is a third bathroom with spacious shower, basin and marine toilet. UTILITY ROOM Here you will find a washing machine and dryer, steam iron. Please note that quick wash is only 800rpm and therefore clothes done on this cycle will require a spin at 1600 separately before going into drier. Very important: Condensing Drier requires water emptying and filter emptying before every cycle. Guest access You can access all of the barge except for the stern (rear) part of the barge - this is my separate living quarters. There is a separate entrance for this part of the barge. I do not occupy this when guests are onboard. Other things to note Please note: The toilets are marine macerator toilets with a biological treatment system. The toilets incorporate an electical macerator and pump. Do not put any non-digestible objects in the toilets. All domestic water is pumped from a tank. The showers and basin waste is automatically pumped. Please do not allow any foreign objects to enter the waste. Please note: There is an outside security camera which shows the main gate leading onto the pontoon. There are no other cameras. Please note: Sometimes the wifi can be a bit patchy below deck because of the steel hull Please note: Never swim in the marina, unfortunately it is not clean enough. Please note: The cabins have portholes, so there are no curtains.
