New "Destin Glory" Cottage - Ideal Location!

This gorgeous, new 2 BR/2 BA guest cottage enjoys an ideal, super convenient location in the charming Crystal Beach neighborhood. It's just 1/2 block (3-4 minute walk) to one of the best beach accesses with a ramp, lifeguard, restrooms and more. Within 2-5 blocks are 2 grocery stores, 35+ restaurants, shops, movie theaters, bowling and even a beautiful state park. The cottage is tucked back from the main street, so it feels like a relaxing, private haven. Includes private hot tub/mini pool. The space "Destin Glory" cottage is a ideal place for those looking for a relaxing vacation haven and a more personal experience. Staying in a residential area, you'll feel more like temporary locals. The home is truly beautiful. Between the cathedral ceiling, the clean white finishes, and lots of windows, the cottage is filled with natural light. High-end details like real Venetian plaster walls, shiplap ceilings and custom cabinetry give it a a one-of-a-kind feel—to make the time when you're not on the beach as enjoyable and relaxing as your time on the beach. The cottage has its own private jumbo hot tub (in winter) which is kept cooler in summer to be a mini pool--perfect for a kids' play pool or adult soaking pool. It features 8 seats all with different jet combinations, plus a waterfall. We also have a cold plunge for those wanting to reduce inflammation or for faster recovery after exercise. (Note: We do not have an in-ground swimming pool.) The first-floor master suite has an extra-wide king bed of luxurious memory foam with a grounding pad for extra restful sleep. The master bath has double sinks and a large shower. We have a portable shower seat for any who prefer not to stand. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and salt water. The second suite is upstairs and offers 2 twin XL beds (also memory foam) or they can be converted into a king on request. The upstairs bath has a shower/tub combo. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the loft, an extra large couch in the living room, plus a pump-up air mattress and toddler cot. Amenities include 2 smart TVs, wifi, large deck, outdoor shower, full laundry and more. The kitchen is stocked with the basics plus some. Gas stove/oven. Instant hot water. Filtered drinking water. Coffee maker and Keurig. Coffee, paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, basic soaps/shampoo provided. We have beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, some beach toys and beach towels for your use. (No guarantee that they are all in perfect working order—Florida weather can take a toll quickly!—but we try to keep up.) Guest access Important: This cottage is part of a family homestead. With all separate walls, doors, and windows from the host's home, it is a perfect combination of having a home to yourself, and yet having the hosts adjacent if you need anything or want to ask advice from locals. Driveway is shared and has a security camera. Cottage guests are allowed 2 parking spaces. You may park bikes and/or a golf cart if you choose to rent them (from a third party). We may be able to accommodate a small boat, jet ski, or trailer, depending on size and ability to maneuver. Please contact us to discuss first. Other things to note The local ordinance actually allows for 8 guests, however we suggest no more than 6 adults for your comfort, especially for stays longer than a few days. The cottage is beautiful and feels spacious and luxurious, but less so with more people. If you would like to have 8 overnight, send us a request first with ages and # of days, and we will review. You may have up to 8 people during the day. For example, a family of 4 could have another family of 4 stop by for a birthday dinner, or you could have 8 adults attend an afternoon bridal shower. The cottage is accessed by 5 fairly shallow steps (not wheelchair accessible but should work for folks with a cane or walker). If you have just 1 or 2 people and will only use the downstairs, we can reduce the cleaning fee to $200.
