It is a great location to kick back and relax or use as a hub for making day trips to the coast or mountains. It is just an hour away from major ski areas of Saddleback, Sunday River or Sugarloaf and about one and a half hours from the mid and southern Maine Atlantic coast. . Limberlost East features a fully equipped kitchen with full size range, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom has a full size dresser, queen size bed and small closet. The bathroom has a standard 36" Shower with adjustable height shower head. A small washer/dryer unit is located within the unit. The unit is heated and cooled with a heat pump. An interior stairwell leads to this second floor unit. Sorry, but we do not allow pets. Maximum occupancy is two. Guests are welcome to use the first floor porch areas. Several small tables and chairs are available for use. Guests are also welcome to walk the grounds to view the flower and vegetable gardens as well as explore and walk among the Christmas trees. We live in the neighboring farmhouse and are available as provide assistance. We respect our guests privacy but we are also open to meeting and conversation occasionally. Within reason we leave it up to the guest as to how much interaction they would like. This property is set on a working diversified farm. It is primarily a Christmas tree farm with the addition of a small greenhouse and large vegetable garden as well as fruit trees and raspberry patch. Located on a country road it shares space with other small farms and rural homes on large lots. You will find lovely scenic views from your own private deck. The owners home is nearby and is beautifully landscaped with extensive perennial gardens. Guests are encouraged to stroll through the gardens and visit the Christmas trees. A large gravel parking area is next to this building unit. It is spacious with plenty of room to park, however during the Christmas tree sales season from Thanksgiving through Christmas it can be congested on some days particularly the weekends.
