Boasting 2 large bedrooms,2 full baths, wide pine floors, 2 wood burning fireplaces, Cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, screened porch, decks, outside stone wood fired oven, plum and cherry trees and charm galore. The space It doesn’t get much cooler than this beautiful cabin, nestled into the southern Vermont woods. Boasting a loft and lots of fun amenities, this modern-yet-rustic three bedroom home is ideal for your next South Newfane vacation with family and friends. The living areas are split into two sections as well, but both are flooded with light thanks to plentiful windows and French doors. The entire home is also filled with bespoke furniture, crafted by the homeowner, a furniture designer. Start the day on the fully-enclosed screened in porch, steaming cup of coffee in hand and end the day on the newly installed back deck with a relaxing outdoor shower. The kitchen features plenty of counter space and all the utensils you need to whip up anything from oatmeal to an omelet. Dine together at the adjacent table with seating for four or head to the other side of the house to find a dining table for eight. Once you’re fueled up, head out to explore. Your country cabin offers gorgeous hiking right on the roads of the mountain, and the West River is only around seven miles away, perfect for a swim. Wilmington is around eleven miles away and features a lake with a beach if you’re looking to work on your tan. Return early and leave plenty of time to enjoy your home, though. Both living areas feature wood-burning stoves (wood provided) so settle in and get cozy. There’s a large sectional with room for everyone, as well as a flatscreen TV in one living room, and the other features a chaise and loveseat, perfect for intimate conversations. There’s a sound dock on hand for music, as well as board games and an Xbox if you want to spend some more together time. Retire to bed in one of the two lofts or the first-floor bedroom, dreaming of a perfect day – and another on tap for tomorrow. The second living space has a king bed and can be closed off completely from the home, acting as a 'suite' and making a second bedroom. An all year outdoor barrel sauna is located on the back deck as well as a seasonal outdoor shower. Guest access Guests will have full access to house minus a small owner cabinet in the Kitchen Other things to note *During mud season and the winter 4wd may be necessary. *During winter months the primary heat source in the front of the house is a wood burning stove. The house will need to be brought up to desired temperature upon arrival. We generally keep it in the high 50's low 60's. Wood and kindling are provided. *Please dispose of Ash from the fireplace in the large metal Ash can located in the back yard.
