Famous local eateries include The Fleetwood Diner (24 hrs), Jefferson Market, Argus Farm Depot, and the historic family owned Washtenaw Dairy (88 yrs) plus new restaurants, brew pubs, music/entertainment venues always emerging. The space is cozy, intimate, charming and PRISTINE. Furnishings are contemporary & include a smart flat screen TV & queen size bed. The bathroom has a tile shower(no tub) and a brand new /shower head with hand held shower sprayer. Extra towels and upscale bath products included. (Neutrogena & Dr. Bronner s Castile Soap) There is a full kitchen scaled to meet the needs of this space. If you enjoy a contemporary European spirit this may be perfect for you. Even if your luggage got lost or if you forgot all of your personal products you would have everything you need, no problem. Guests will enjoy a full apartment with every possible amenity. It is completely self enclosed, one does not have to walk through my private space to gain access. It is down a flight of carpeted stairs with it s own private door both coming into to the house and into the apartment. Large windows are at ground/garden level. The use of a very gorgeous, private backyard is part of the package. Look into my private forest while sitting in the lovely patio area or under the covered porch. It s a cool place to hang out. The Eberwhite/Old West Side area is a highly sought after family neighborhood. It is very safe, quiet, and cared for, a visual and residential treasure. Ann Arbor is a very diverse city, rich in all manner of things to do, eat, & enjoy. People of all types live, visit and work here and EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE. Make yourself at home in my Airbnb apartment. The bus stop is two blocks away. Walking distance to the Big House is .7 mile, downtown 1.5 miles. This fantastic private apartment is down a flight of carpeted stairs. (handrails on each side). If you are over 6'2" you may have to duck a bit in two internal doorways. The "basement" feeling has been erased. I lived in this apartment myself and can honestly speak to what it s about. You won t experience any parking lot lights, see any dumpsters or hear any traffic. This is a super great, homey, safe neighborhood, and one of the best in the city.
