Other things to note POOL HEATING AVAILABILITY & SAFETY Guidelines • Pool heating is available at a rate of $150 per day and must be requested at least 24 hours prior to your check-in date and paid in full. • In accordance with PG&E safety guidelines and to mitigate the risks of algae growth during high-temperature periods, pool heating is not available when outdoor temperatures exceed 78°F. • This fee solely covers utility costs; the host does not profit from pool heating. • If you wish to have the pool heated, please ensure you request it before your stay so we can verify availability. Warm water, particularly in the range of 70°F to 80°F (21°C to 27°C), is conducive to algae growth. When the pool temperature exceeds these levels, particularly in the 80s, it creates an environment where algae can thrive. • If the outdoor temperature is 78 degrees or higher, the pool will not be heated due to the potential for algae growth. • Please contact your host prior to your stay if you require the pool to be heated. • The pool heater typically requires about 24 hours to achieve the desired temperature.
