The Truro (28m2) is a comfortable vintage-style room. Tea and coffee-making facilities provided. Flat-screen TV with internet access. The bed and bedside cabinets are circa 19th century French romantic style, also has an antique mahogany dresser and pair of mahogany chairs. The window overlooks the quiet village lanes and has a window seat – the curtains are lined, and room-darkening blinds. The large (9m2) en-suite bathroom has a double walk-in shower, toilet, bath and basin. The space Britannia House is a historic property built in 1830 and has many original and unique features. The house was originally built from old mine timbers by a mine captain, the property then became the village pub until refurbished in 2019 to become a home. The large stone and timber living room has a log-burning stove and lovely views out to the village. There is plenty of seating for relaxing and access to books, board games and cards. On a sunny day the courtyard has tables and chairs available. Guest access Guests can access the large living room for breakfast, or relaxation if they desire. The courtyard also provides a lovely location on a warm sunny day for breakfast or sit and enjoy the peace and fresh Cornish air. Other things to note Britannia House offer a range of vegan and vegetarian breakfast options and we cater for other special dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free). Please advise us prior to arrival.
