A working cattle ranch nestled in the pine forests of Southeastern Oklahoma, The Harder Homestead, is the perfect country escape for a slower pace of life. This homestead has been in our family for over 50 years, and we are excited to share it with you. Nearby are many streams and rivers, including the Glover River where you can fish, kayak or swim. There are also many mountain trails to explore via ATV, UTV, or hiking. Some of these trails do require an Oklahoma Land Access Permit that can be obtained online through the Oklahoma Wildlife Department. Hochatown, OK is only 20 miles away. There are many restaurants, attractions, and Beavers Bend State Park to enjoy. This is the perfect multi-family getaway tucked in the country for up to 12 people. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, an open living, dining and kitchen area, sunroom w/ sofa bed, laundry room, spacious patio with outdoor seating. The patio has a propane grill and firepit nearby. The spacious master suite has a crib and boasts a large en-suite tiled bathroom with jacuzzi tub, large closet, and beautiful views of pastureland. There is also a pack and play located in the master closet. The sunroom is the perfect hideout and quiet spot for kids and teens to get away. The great room is complete with large living area and open floor concept. It adjoins a wide-open kitchen as well as dining area. The kitchen area has an island that seats 6. There is also a large dining table that seats up to 8. You will find board games and other family fun activities located throughout. There are horseshoes and a corn hole game located outside. Parking: Feel free to park under the carport. The code to the door will be sent to you via email 24 hours prior to your check-in. There is plenty of room for extra parking and also parking available for trailers, boats, ATV's. Overview: Basic amenities have been provided including a coffee bar. You also have full access to the washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. There are laundry supplies provided. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Feel free to use our cookware, utensils, and appliances as needed. We have plenty of storage space available for groceries. Located in the pantry are some staple goods, and even some goodies. On the carport is a steel safe room available if it is storming during your stay. Fully stocked linen closet. Please be aware that this is a working cattle ranch so do not cross any fences or open any gates on the property. No trespassing signs are posted.
